- LOOK & FEEL
All previous successful functions are now available in a completely new look with a new intuitive user interface.
- GROUP FORUMS & EVENT FORUMS
The forums are the new control centers in GroupJoyner. You can create, administer and comment on polls, To-Do lists or posts in the forums.
- OVERVIEW
The overview provides an overview of all changes and important entries for the user across groups and events. A clicked entry leads directly from the overview to the desired event.
- QUESTION MARK
From each important point in the app, both the issue-specific and the complete FAQ can be viewed by clicking on the question mark.
- PHANTOM MEMBER
Do you not have enough contact information to invite a desired member to your group? No problem! Using the “Phantom Member” function, you can create a placeholder until the real member can join the group.
19.12.2017 – Version 1.5
- EVENT SORTING
The sorting of events has been improved. The individual sorting of the event list (e.g., by date) now remains set, even if you leave the view.
- SCOREBOARD
The scoreboard now appears immediately after creation. It is automatically set to active (red) at the start of the event and can then be operated by any member until the admin confirms the final status (gray).
- POLLS
The polls in events now have no end date by default, just like surveys under “General“.
- MISCELLANEOUS
Some minor improvements and bug fixes.
30.10.2017 – Version 1.4.5
- BADGING
The new badging improves the overview of new activities and facilitates orientation in the app.
- HELP
Help is now a separate item in the menu overview under which you can (de)activate the help pop-ups and find the FAQs and update news.
- SHARE DIALOG
The GroupJoyner app is now integrated into the system share dialog so that images can be shared from other apps into GroupJoyner.
- NOTIFICATIONS
Notifications can now be temporarily switched off in the Group Info area – accessible via the group name header and the three menu points at the top right.
- DATE POLL
If users select the date poll when creating the event, it will appear as a poll directly in the newly created event.
- EVENT SORTING
The sorting of events by activity or by date (downward/up) has been revised and improved.
- DELETING EVENTS
Events can now be deleted in the event overview.
- POSTS
Bug fix: The text of posts can be edited even if more than one image is contained (iOS-specific).
- MISCELLANEOUS
Small bug fixes and various improvements.
25.09.2017 – Version 1.4.4
- INVITATIONS You can now choose between two types of invitations:
1.Invitations that lead directly to group membership after acceptance. These invitations are valid for 6 months and you can reach up to 100 new members per invitation.
2.Invitations that must be confirmed by the group administrator before the member can be included in the group.
- EMAIL VERIFICATION
The email verification mechanism has been simplified and should have resolved any problems users had understanding the system.
- EVENTS
In addition to sorting by importance or activity, you can now select sorting by date – newest first or oldest first.
- DATE POLL
The date poll during event creation now appears as expected in the created event and no longer under “General”.
- LOCATIONS & TIMES
All locations and times for an event are listed chronologically in ascending order by date and time and now also by current changes.
- IMAGES
Whether it’s group pictures, event pictures, profile pictures or all shared pictures from the general posts – you can now save pictures from any area of GroupJoyner for yourself on your smartphone.
